Jennifer A. Slay is a multi-award-winning speaker, activist, and educator, and she has been a recipient of the prestigious Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for her community work. Her passion lies in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion spaces, and she is currently the Director of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Decolonization at King’s University College. When she speaks, audiences listen. Her speeches are memorable, entertaining, and dynamic. She has spoken for educational institutions, businesses, and companies like Western & McMaster, TD Canada Trust and Lerners Law Firm. Slay is also a graduate of Western, King’s and McMaster Universities. She has two bachelor’s and a master’s degree. She is a certified trainer of Extended DISC and trained in EMDR therapy. She has spent two decades speaking, coaching, and counselling to support people in achieving the best version of themselves.

Most recently, she was asked to be the host of a Community Television Show called “What’s Up London” after co-producing an award-winning show called “Melanated View.” In 2022, she became the Director of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Decolonization at King's University College.
