At the heart of Ivey Business School's Information Systems Area Group, Lameck Osinde's role encompasses teaching and shaping future leaders in Digital Transformation, Digital Essentials, Leveraging Information Technology, and Project Management. As the coordinator for Industry Certifications within the Digital Management MSc program, he has the privilege of guiding the students through critical learning milestones, ensuring they emerge not just as graduates but as industry-ready professionals equipped with the latest skills and knowledge.

Moreover, his involvement in the Ubuntu Management and Education Initiative and the Africa Service-Learning Course allows him to bridge continents in our educational outreach. These programs underscore our commitment to building capacity for case-based business education, engaging in meaningful international fieldwork, and fostering global leadership skills among our students. The opportunity to prepare and teach alongside our African peers, coupled with the development and presentation of business cases, enriches both our student’s academic community and those of the students of our partner institutions abroad. While deeply rooted in education, this journey transcends into a broader mission of fostering global understanding, connectivity, and collaboration. His experiences at Western have been enriched by the vibrant interactions with colleagues and the sharing of insights that span cultures and disciplines. As we continue to build an unapologetically Black space in academia, it is these moments of connection and the bright futures we are shaping that stand as a testament to the power of inclusive education and the boundless opportunities it creates.
