For Susuana Kwaning, a previous graduate student at Western University, it has been an impactful professional journey of giving back in her role as a program assistant with the Faculty of Law at Western University. She feels empowered being part of the black community, which promotes her sense of belonging amid a vastly diverse academic atmosphere. In her administrative role, she consciously makes each student feel welcomed, supported, and included as we journey together through the maze.
