The WIDE Survey

The Western Inclusion, Diversity and Equity (WIDE) Survey is an important tool to understand the demographics of our Western community and support equity, diversity and inclusion across our campus. Complete the WIDE Survey today in MyHR or Student Center.

EDID Champion Program

EDID (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Decolonization) Champions are allies who play a crucial role in shaping Western's culture and ensuring it's an institution where all students and employees feel valued, respected and represented. Become an EDID Champion today and advocate for more safe and inclusive campus.

Western B.L.U.E. Program

Each year, the Western B.L.U.E. (Black Leadership University Experience) Program provides in-person, paid, part-time leadership experiences for 20 Black students. Gain new skills, meet new people in the community and apply for the Western B.L.U.E. Program.

Inclusion, Diversity, Decolonization, Equity and Accessibility Leadership Symposium 2024

The Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion hosted the Inclusion, Diversity, Decolonization, Equity and Accessibility Leadership Symposium (ID2EALS) in May 2024. The three-day symposium featured concurrent sessions, workshops and keynote presentations related to the advancement of EDID in Ontario postsecondary institutions.

EDIDA Central Working Group

The Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Decolonization and Accessibility (EDIDA) Central Working Group provides updates to the senior leadership on EDIDA-related initatives taking place across Western. The group also reviews and shares feedback on anti-racism, anti-oppression and accessibility work in progress. Read more about our mandate, membership and procedures.
