Unpacking and Addressing Antisemitism

This module invites participants to explore the issue of antisemitism and its impact on Jewish communities in Canada. It provides an introduction to Jewish life, including key holidays, traditions and symbols. Participants will also examine the role of social media in shaping contemporary antisemitism and learn practical strategies for recognizing and responding to antisemitic microaggressions and discrimination.

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

Define antisemitism and understand key concepts related to Judaism
Reflect on current stereotypes and tropes, understanding how they harm Jewish individuals and communities
Implement strategies and take actions to confront antisemitism to build a more inclusive environment
